Sex in Six Objects workshop – Freud’s collection

freud porcupineA free workshop for young people aged 16-25 to explore the psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud’s collection of historical objects which he used in the treatment of his patients. The workshop will investigate Freud‘s views on homosexuality and women and how these help us to think about gender and sexuality today.

This will be led by our project director Dr Jana Funke, our Engaged Research Fellow Dr Jen Grove and  Dr Marie Kolkenbrock (University of Cambridge).

Part of Sex in Six Objects, a series of workshops for young people investigating the history of sexuality in six objects.
